Description

• SPT is a damper for installation in circular ducts. The product comes with a mounting shelf that fits most conventional actuators.

• The damper can be ordered with a mechanical handle for manual operation or alternatively fitted with an actuator. Please see Options and aceessories or download the product sheet for current actuator options.

• The product can be used for commissioning purposes, or as regulating or shut-off damper.
(pressure class A, up to 300 Pa).

• The damper is prepared for 50 mm external insulation.

Materials

• Product in standard version comes with damper housing and blade of galvanized sheet steel but can also be ordered in painted versions.

• The products meet corrosivity class C3 and pressure class A with housing in density class C.

• The product is fitted with a damper blade in tightness class 4 unless otherwise specified.

• The product is fitted with gaskets of EPDM rubber.

Mounting

• Circular products have nipple dimensions with rubber gaskets and are mounted with a sliding muff (female slide-in coupling).

• Circular products can be installed in any position and require no maintenance.

• The product can be delivered for manual operation, fitted with a mechanical handle, but is optionally available in motorized version with several actuator types available (specified when ordering).

• Motorized products are not intended for use in cold or aggressive environments.

• Motorized products may only be installed by authorized personnel. All rules and regulations issued by authorities in the country of usage
must be followed during installation.

• All wiring must be done with the power supply disconnected.

• When installing, space should be reserved for access to the device's actuators and/or readability of units equipped with a display.
