Uranos Room Pressure Regulator makes it possible to maintain a constant positive or negative pressure in a room relative to the surrounding areas. Room pressure is controlled by means of dampers in the supply air or exhaust air duct serving the room.

The Room Pressure Regulator consists of several components, with the Uranos Manager core module acting as the central control unit. In addition to the controller itself, the solution includes a room pressure display panel and a door contact. The display panel indicates the room pressure status using visual and audible signals. The door contact temporarily suspends pressure control whenever a door to the room is opened, ensuring smooth and comfortable door operation.

Communication between the components of the Uranos Room Pressure Regulator takes place via the Modbus RTU protocol. The controller can operate independently of a Building Management System (BMS) but is prepared for integration with one.

The BMS enables:

• Monitoring and control of all parameters
• Alarm generation in the event of operating changes
• System diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Forced shutdown of zones

For critical processes, an independent room pressure monitoring system should always be considered.

Maintenance can be carried out easily using a service connector installed in the room. Connecting to the controller provides access to operating data and allows system parameters to be configured.
