Description

• Rectangular eggcrate grille for transfer air or extract air suitable for most types of premises.

• Grille made of thin aluminium slats offer low pressure drop and low inherent sound level generation.

• The product is fitted with a nipple spigot with rubber seal for easy mounting.

• The grille can also be used for extract air applications, see product E5O-FL.

Accessories

• OFI-C (ÖFI-C): Fibre blocker for transfer air units that prevents the spread of insulation fibres in air flows.

– Elastic wall penetration sleeve for transfer air units mounted in insulated stud walls that prevents spreading of fibres and particles into the air flow. 

– Does not affect free area or sound performance, unlike sheet-metal wall penetration sleeves.

– Made from environmentally friendly, flexibe and flame-retardant material.

– Complies with current recommendations for OVK inspections.

– Can be combined with the following transfer units: OLR/ÖLR, ODA/ÖDA*), SOD[b]/SÖD[b]*), S2O/S2Ö*), E5O

– Available in rectangular version, OFI-R (ÖFI-R)

• E5O: Eggcrate grille made of aluminium with frame and spigot made of hot-dip galvanised steel sheet in white RAL 9003 standard colour. EPDM rubber gasket. The product can be supplied in alternative colours on special order.

• OFI-C: Made from environmentally friendly, flame-retardant polyurethane foam. The material is CertiPUR and Oeko-Tex certified.


• E5O has a nipple connection with a rubber gasket for easy installation in circular ducts.

• The product is primarily intended for installation in walls, but can also be installed in ceilings.

• For transfer air applications, the product is installed in pairs on either side of a wall in a circular hole cutting. 

• The grille parts are pressed into the hole cutting, and if necessary, secured with screws through the frame. Standard version of the grille is supplied without pre-drilled screw holes.

• When the accessory OFI-C / ÖFI-C is used, the accessory must be fitted into the hole cutting before installing the grille.
