C-LAG
Main features
• Rectangular sound attenuator with circular connections
• Compact dimensions with effective acoustic properties
• Direct connection to circular ductwork without the need for transitions
• Insulated with fibre-free sound-absorbing material
• Supplied in duct dimensions Ø100-400 mm
• Length options 500 or 1000 mm
Description
• Rectangular low-profile sound attenuative silencer with circular connections for air duct systems.
• Lower overall height than equivalent circular models – ideal for restricted-height installations, e.g. shallow ceilings, shafts, narrow passages, or other space constraints.
• Circular connections allow direct attachment to spiral ducts without transitions.
• Rectangular design provides improved acoustic performance per unit length and lower pressure drop compared to fully circular low-profile units.
• All dimensions are available in lengths of 500 and 1000 mm.

• Outer casing made of unpainted galvanized steel sheet with EPDM rubber gaskets.
• Insulation made of washable, sound-absorbing, non-combustible mineral wool, surface-coated with perforated sheet metal.
• The product is designed for installation in ducts with circular connections and is secured with screws or blind rivets.
• During installation, suspension supports that wrap around the outer casing must be used.
• The product must not be mounted solely suspended at the connection points.
• Provide a minimum straight duct length of 4 × ØD upstream of the attenuator to ensure the stated acoustic performance.
• To meet airtightness classification requirements, the attenuator must be installed according to specific guidelines, usually the installation instructions provided by the duct system manufacturer.
• See the operation and maintenance documents*) for more information on installing the product.
*1) Operation and maintenance instructions are provided in a separate document, ...DU-SE/...DV-DK – Operation and Maintenance (pdf), which can be downloaded from our product pages.
