Accessories

• RAM: Mounting frame for rectangular products.
– Intended for mounting the product without a commissioning box.
– Included in delivery unless specifically excluded when ordering.

 

• OFI-R (ÖFI-R): Fibre blocker for transfer air units that prevents the spread of insulation fibres in air flows.

– Elastic wall penetration sleeve for transfer air units mounted in insulated stud walls that prevents spreading of fibres and particles into the air flow. 

– Does not affect free area or sound performance, unlike sheet-metal wall penetration sleeves.

– Made from environmentally friendly, flexibe and flame-retardant material.

– Complies with current recommendations for OVK inspections.

– Can be combined with the following rectangular transfer units: OLS/ÖLS, SOD[a]/SÖD[a], E5^*2

– Available in circular version, OFI-C / ÖFI-C

^*2) E5 or other rectangular product supplied or ordered in pairs for transfer air purposes, must be within the dimensions W ≤ 800 och H = 50 mm.

• E5: Eggcrate grille made of aluminium with frame made of hot-dip galvanised steel sheet in white RAL standard colour. Stainless steel clips and sealing gasket from made from polyurethane foam.

• RAM: Mounting frame for rectangular products made of galvanised sheet steel.

• FLKR: Hot-dip galvanised steel sheet, internally insulated with washable surface-coated sound absorber, made from 100% recycled, non-allergenic, hydrophobic PET plastic material.

• OFI-R: Made from environmentally friendly, flame-retardant polyurethane foam. The material is CertiPUR and Oeko-Tex certified.

General

• E5 has a rectangular connection spigot and is primarily intended for installation in walls or rectangular ducts, but can also be installed in ceilings.

 

Installation – extract air with a commissioning box

• The grille is preferably installed in a cleanable commissioning box/plenum type FLKR, which contains a measuring hose and a removable balancing damper. The product is then connected directly to the telescopic frame of the box.

• The commissioning box is connected to a circular duct. Connection to a straight-mounted flexible duct is possible but not recommended.

 

Installation – extract air without a commissioning box

• E5 is installed using mounting frame RAM (accessory) for rectangular products.

• The mounting frame has pre-drilled holes (Ø6 mm) and is secured with screws or pop rivets.

• The product is attached to the frame with a clip function.

• In this case, commissioning must be made using a separate damper.

 

Installation – transfer air

• For transfer air applications, the product is installed in pairs on either side of a wall in a rectangular hole cutting. 

• The grille is installed using mounting frame RAM (accessory) for rectangular products.

• The mounting frame has pre-drilled holes (Ø6 mm) and is secured with screws or pop rivets. The product is attached to the frame with a clip function.

• When the accessory OFI-R / ÖFI-R is used, the foam parts must be fitted into the hole cutting before installing the grille.
